What's a good personalised engagement present?
A personalised engagement present is one built from something specific to the couple — their photo, their names, their date — rather than a generic object with a name added on.
The word "personalised" gets stretched to cover almost anything with a monogram on it, but the useful version of it is narrower: a present that could only belong to this one couple. A glass with their initials engraved is customised — swap the initials and it fits any couple. A present built from their own photo, their own date, or their own words is personalised, because there's no version of it that fits anyone else.
